Erick Erickson, Editor & Chairman of the Board.
Erick Erickson is the Chairman of RedState's Board of Directors and serves as the Editor of the site.
Erick graduated from Mercer University’s School of Law in Macon, Georgia in 2000. Thereafter, he practiced law for over five years handling corporate transactions, election matters, and estates. Concurrently, Erick served as a Republican political consultant, traveling the country running federal, state, and local races. Erick worked as a blogger for MSNBC during the 2004 Presidential election and is a regular guest on XM Satellite Radio’s POTUS ’08 Radio Network. Erick left his law practice in November 2005, and subsequently took over the management of RedState full time.
Erick, his wife Christy, and daughter Evelyn live well outside the beltway in Macon, Georgia where Erick is a member of Macon’s City Council. The London Telegraph recently named Erick the sixty-ninth most influential conservative in the United States.
Clayton Wagar has two decades of experience in technology, including
stints with Cisco, Procket Networks, Redback, and Electromagnetic
Sciences. Prior to the acquisition of Redstate by Eagle Publishing,
Clayton served as the CEO, CFO, and Chief Technologist of Redstate.
Clayton is also the publisher of PeachPundit.com, where he and Erick
serve up the latest in politics from the State of Georgia. He lives in
Atlanta with his family.
Mike Krempasky, Director and Founder.
Mike Krempasky is the co-founder of both RedState and the Online
Coalition, a bipartisan coalition of bloggers and online professionals
organized to advocate for freedom of speech online.He's worked in grassroots politics in a number of roles, from leading a
national pro-life organization and training conservative activists all
across the country, to raising money for Republican candidates and
conservative causes.He is also a Vice President at Edelman, a global public relations firm.
Ben Domenech, Director and Founder.
Originally from Mississippi, Ben Domenech began his career as a political journalist covering Capitol Hill. In 2002, he was sworn in as the youngest Schedule C political appointee in the Bush Administration, where he served for a year before spending two as the chief speechwriter for a U.S. Senator. Ben has worked as a book editor, ghostwriter, and consultant (though not necessarily in that order). He is the editor in chief of The Critical, a quarterly journal. He lives in Virginia in a very old house.
