Keith Obermann mentions "cold-blooded killers." The craven, little puke.

By Mark Kilmer Posted in | | | Comments (48) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »

The MSNBC sportscaster, Keith Olbermann, said this (via AllahPundit):

The president replied: “Doomsday scenario of course is that extremists throughout the Middle East would be emboldened, which would eventually lead to another attack on the United States. The biggest issue we face is, it’s bigger than Iraq, it’s this ideological struggle against cold-blooded killers who will kill people to achieve their political objectives.”

Mr. Bush, at long last, has it not dawned on you that the America you have now created, includes “cold-blooded killers who will kill people to achieve their political objectives?” They are those in — or formerly in — your employ, who may yet be charged some day with war crimes.

AllahPundit said that Olbermann was not referring to our troops as cold-blood killers, as Keefums "lacks the stones to slaughter a cow that sacred."

I'd say he would do it because it doesn't take cojones. He's a craven, little fool sitting in his air-conditioned studio saying whatever the heck he thinks will improve his ratings. He might not believe that our troops are cold-blooded killers, as he does not say what he believes and he does possess beliefs as such. He's an empty vessel which manages to spew sewage.

His statement was directed at our soldiers, at the Bush Administration, at everyone, and at no one. It had little meaning. He was talking. Period.

It's long past pathetic. Yes, he did insult our troops. No, he's not worth our time.

I mean outside of an ABA convention I doubt you could find more soulless vultures waiting to feed on misery. It used to be they were a bit more equal opportunity in their predation.

As a Christian I know I am not supposed to hate anyone, but also as a Christian I realize that I am sinful in nature and yup I hate Keith Olberman. He is one of the worst rabble rouser, know nothing, idiots who have made politics into sports with a dash of holier than thou rhetoric. If he got sentenced to prison and had to stay in cell block "you ass is mine", I would have little pity for him.

In fact I will go a little further in my disdain for Keith. Do you remember Mary Poppins? Good. Do you remember her special tape measure? Good. Well where Mary Poppins measures as "practically perfect in every way" Keith would measure "Totally inept on every item". Oh how I can't stand that vile, despicable, anti-American, scum sucker.

Keith Olber - who??? Why is this guy worth ten seconds of my time. In other news, on Coast to Coast A.M. a caller from the Mohave desert desert claims that aluminum foil hats made from Reynolds wrap work better than aluminum foil hats made from other brands.

Never have I heard so many hateful, ridiculous ideas as on this blog.

I was having a discussion with my 25 yr old son last evening wherein he was trying to convince me that you guys (Obama haters) were much worse than I thought you were. Imagine my surprise. He was right.

It must be hard carrying around so much hate. What are you so afraid of?

Wasn't "Red Dawn" about the Mexican military invading the US. Well, a remake would merely change it from an open invasion to the subtle "give 'em amnesty" takeover.

Hey there, tofu. It's "Olbermann," not "Obama." But there really isn't much difference. Olbermann just has more international diplomatic experience.

If you want hate, go to HuffPo or Daily Kos. You may not notice it, but it's there for the taking.

Sensible commentary from various perspectives is welcome here. Hate-baiting; not so much.

As for your comments...So it is your buddy Bush....the worst president ever....that has let you down, pissed you off, etc. etc.

Isn't this rant by tofu way, WAY off topic?

I'm taking a kowalski. I see--I'd missed swamp-yankee's original comment and without the quotes or reply-to I thought it came from tofu, and it therefore made no sense.

Now I see the connection.

I'll use spellcheck when you use the "Reply To This" button.

And perhaps a blockquote around the original material.

It makes it so much easier to know what is your material and what is the original material.

Why Keith? by justatron

What in Olbermann's background qualifies him more than me to have a political talking head show? So, he reported on guys hitting/throwing/dunking balls of various sizes? Good for him? If he gets a talk show, I want a talk show!

Granted, I know that we are talking MSNBC, so perhaps the 26 people who watch it on a regular basis aren't that discerning...

instead of President Bush?

conform and celebrate diversity....or else!!!

This has been an irritation for me since they started it with President Nixon. (Might even have started with President Lyndon Johnson.) Some dumb s**t in some press corps decided that "Mr. Nixon" was equivalent to "Mr. President," and that it therefore was appropriate to use "Mr. Nixon" when writing or speaking in the third person. Only it wasn't, it isn't, and they knew it very well.

Since then, they have been extraordinarily reluctant to refer to a President as "President (insert last name here)," preferring the title "Mister" instead.

You won't hear anything but "Senator Kennedy or Obama or Clinton or McCain," however.

Democrats: Abandoning Allies, One Country at a Time.

I knew all I needed to know about him when he first went on opposite O'reilly. I tuned him in and he was raging on and on about O'reilly's book. I found that to be worthless and not a little bit unprofessional. So I turned on O'reilly and he was interviewing the Secretary of State.

That told me who the journalist was, and who the unserious person was.

Sorry, Charlie... by ThatTallGuy

Much as I may dislike KO, you are misinterpreting him here.

> They are those in — or formerly in — your employ, who may yet be charged some day with war crimes.

He's not talking about the troops. He's talking about Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, and so on.

Let's focus a little, shall we?

Did he say, "Not directed at soldiers"?

In any event, it's still wacko left-wing drivel, even if directed only at the folks you mention.

Olby is one of the few people I wouldn't defend even if he were flagrantly misquoted. And he wasn't flagrantly misquoted. Just flagrantly quoted.

Democrats: Abandoning Allies, One Country at a Time.

Happy to focus. by mbecker908

If you think for one second that any official of this Administration is going to be charged with "war crimes" in any court of competent jurisdiction, you're as big an idiot as KO. Just like no former Clinton Administration official will be charged with "war crimes" for anything in Bosnia - like maybe the Chinese Embassy bombing.

In the parent note, I specify that Olbermann was talking about both the Bush Administration and the troops. It's a matter of subject, syntax, and sentence structure.

Sorry.

Look, he's a partisan hack. The difference between him and Sean Hannity is that Sean is up front about his partisanship and doesn't pretend to be a non-partisan observer.

The guy has pretentions of being the next Edward R. Murrow. Sadly, this individual has delusions of grandeur, if not adequacy.
