Will God continue to bless America?

I heard the following sermon in Church last Sunday in light of the birthday of our Independence today.
Why has God blessed America?
1) Our Nation was founded on the freedom to express the Christian faith. The Mayflower Compact was the first document written. The common purpose of the document was “the advancement of the Christian faith” and God is mentioned four times.
2) Our founding fathers acknowledged God’s authority over us. The Declaration of Independence says our rights come from God. Washington added “so help me God” to the oath of office.
3) Our nation has continuously acknowledged God publicly. At the top of the Washington Monument is the phrase: “Let God be praised.” In 1954 Eisenhower added “one Nation under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance.
Are we in danger of losing God’s blessing upon this Nation?
There are many Americans who are working diligently to remove God from the public square. They are succeeding. This is dividing our nation and moving us further away from God.
The silent majority must not remain silent and let this happen. We have a debt to protect what has been given us. We ignore God as a country at our peril.
Happy Birthday America, and “May God continue to bless America!”

that at all. All religions have the freedom to practice their faith in our country. By the silent majority, I mean all who worship and have faith in God, the one who grants us those freedoms, the one that has greatly blessed America.
We together, must not let those who wish to remove God from the public square succeed as they have been slowly but surely doing. Atheists and others want to remove all vestiges of references to God from everything and we can't sit quietly and let them win, one small victory at a time until no reference to God can be allowed in the public square.

Sandra, we are a very religious nation, and we are primarily a Christian nation. There are churches in every corner of this country that will accept new congregants. This isn't going to change any time soon.
The fact is, that the concern you express about "moving away from God" is much more relevent to religious people who practice other religions.
As Jews, my wife and I are forced to take vacation days to celebrate holidays. Our ability to accept new jobs and relocation has been has been limited by the lack of synagogues in places like Richmond and St. Louis, for example.
When you have to take a day off from work to celebrate Christmas, please let me know. When you, or a member of your family, has to turn down a job transfer and instead look for another job because you can't find a place to worship, please let me know.
If by "silent majority" you mean silent Christian majority, I'd maintain that this majority has ample opportunity to practice their faith.
I have ample opportunity to practice my faith as well, but less opportunity to do it publicly.
