Barack's 2nd pastor has another attack on Clinton

Jake Tapper reports that Father Mike Pfleger again has spoken out attacking Hillary Clinton. But this time he threw John McCain in the mix:
"Hillary and McCain would wish they had a preacher with the integrity of Jeremiah Wright. … They got some old weak preacher…some old Joel Osteen cotton candy preacher."
Listen to the audio of the sermon here.
Earlier, Tapper had noted in a story about the local diocese rejection of Pfleger's that:
I just have to say, as someone of faith, I have never before heard a cleric engage in such disdainful mockery from a pulpit. Have you?
however if I had mentioned the MSM that "not know it" would be appropriate ;-)

made outrageous statements on the very first Sunday he preached and they were mostly ignored, except by Gamecock.

does not bother me nearly as much as Obama's sitting in the pew for 20 years.
I'll take Joel Osteen preaching the principals of the Bible over hate any day.

If not then...PHOOEY on...ummm...the next President of the United States!
"Who will stand/On either hand/And guard this bridge with me?" (Macaulay)
Why did he allude to Joel Osteen? According to Wikipedia:
Osteen's media ministry regularly features an upbeat and sometimes humorous message of life lessons of hope, kindness, optimism and biblical relevancy and redemption through Jesus Christ.
Well! Hope, kindness, optimism and redemption. Reverend Wright doesn't want any of THAT crap!
Instead, from Reverend Wright, you get your vengeance by busting Whitey's ass!
From the same article:
Osteen received much criticism from many in the Evangelical community, after a 2005 appearance on Larry King Live, when he did not clearly affirm that Jesus Christ is the only way a person can reach Heaven.
Are we done yet with religion as a wedge issue?
The issue at hand isn't religion but the overwhelming hatred spewed forth by Obama's spiritual advisers and that impact upon the man who is Obama.
There is a huge difference between a man who has for 20 years listened to GOD DAM AMERICA every week as opposed to heaven can be achieved by honest god fearing people even if they are Jews, Muslims, Hindus or (god not withstanding) atheists.

Badly.
The Fuzzy Puppy of the VRWC. I've been usurped!
Which other religions rant about "God Damn America," retribution against white folks, retribution against capitalism, etc.?
As far as I can tell, there are just two religions that do that: Liberation Theology (one variant of which is Wright's Black Liberation Theology), and radical Islam.
I think both of them are just radical hate politics, wrapped in religious-sounding Saran Wrap. But Saran Wrap is transparent--it's easy to see what's inside.
And if you want, I will be happy to denounce some of the hateful and genuinely subversive things being spewed forth by radical imams in mosques as well. There's some stuff going on in Dearborn Michigan that would even embarrass Reverend Wright.
Yep. Joel's optimism is why he has the largest church in the U.S. People are tired of listening to condescending bobble heads at the pulpit telling them how to think. This is why so many other "men of God" hate him so much. They've ruled their flocks very effectively by guilt and fear and they don't like being undermined by some kid with a perpetual grin on his face who has the gall to tell people they can achieve their dreams.
Wright and Pfleger on the other hand, are clowns. They get fed by the energy of the crowd to the point that a sermon turns into a stand-up comedy routine. These guys can literally say ANYTHING they want to and the mindless congregation will whoop and holler as if they are making perfect sense.

I think Barack has a problem with the company he keeps but the end result of all of this is to further stigmatize Christian pastors.

I doubt it. But there certainly is the potential for raising the idea that if Trinity and Wright are indicative of "The Black Church" then that might have a backlash against them.

If they're going to wink at Black Liberation Theology and play footsy with Malcolm X and Farrakhan, then they deserve what they get.
You are supposed to go to church to contemplate the divine and the transcendant. Not to be indoctrinated in Marxism or black racism.
These Black Liberation Theology churches are false. They have ripped Jesus out of his moral context of universal brotherhood and peace, and pasted on the bitterness of Malcolm X and the out-and-out racism of James Cone.

he is not a member of Trinity or any of the churches associated with Trinity but Barack could tell him a thing or 100 because he sat there listening to that disdainful mockery for 20 years....and I for one and I hope the RNC and 527's for another are not about to let the American public know it.
