My letter to the editor on the discharge petition for the Broadcaster Freedom Act

I just wanted to post a quick diary in reference to a letter to the editor I wrote in the Topeka Capital Journal 6/.27/08. http://www.cjonline.com/stories/062708/opi_296139604.shtml
I'm letting you know about it to encourage you to do likewise. We need conservative talk radio to help protect our rights and see to it that truth is spoken on a daily basis or we're screwed. Please spend part of your time and conservative passion in the attempt to communicate to others not in the know. I had to soften my normal prose a bit to make the article acceptable to a fairly liberal newspaper, but it was worth it. The paper allowed me to zing my Rep. Nancy Boyda for not signing the discharge petition and to point out that Obama is in favor of bringing back the "Fairness Doctrine". I had to tone myself down a bit, but if that's what it takes to get them in, I'll continue to do it and urge you to do the same. Have a good one.
