I imagine that there is a lot of this going around:
I'd like to interrupt this Unity Day message with a small reminder to the Barack Obama campaign and the Democratic Party - unless he picks Hillary Clinton as his running mate - the day he announces his Vice Presidential candidate will be a day of disunity.
I hope someone is thinking about that. Because since today is "Why Hillary Lost" Day in the Media, they need to remember that Hillary Clinton got half of the votes. Yes, she lost . . . barely. Obama is in a tight race with John McCain and needs a unified Democratic Party and if he is set on NOT picking Hillary Clinton as his VP, I hope he has a plan for re-unifying the Party the day after he insists on NOT unifying, indeed, in dividing the Party by not choosing Hillary Clinton as his VP.

Is to have him offer it to several & get turned down. I'd love for him to offer it to Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid, though I don't think that'll happen. Kucinich would be another "great" pick. There's been a lot of buzz for Jim Webb, however I'm not sure about 2 freshmen senators. I wonder if Strickland in Ohio would accept? A female like Sebilus may seem attractive to some as a VP pick, though it could be seen as a way to mollify the women's vote. I don't think Clinton wants it nor does Obama want her & Bill. It'll be interesting to see how team Obama handles this...

From all the news out I can not think of 1 democrat that has anywhere the power to unify the entireity of the democrat party behind Obama. And as I have said before, if large segments of the party chooses to not back Obama, he is faced with a huge problem.
Of course I am all for him picking a non-starter, all the easier for us.
